Hey there!

I was born and raised in the Bay Area and received degrees in Cognitive Science (emphasis in AI/HCI) and Spanish Language Studies from UC Santa Cruz. I recently graduated (May 2023) with my master’s in Creative Technology and Design (UX emphasis) from CU Boulder. While at CU, I worked as a research assistant in the Brain, AI, and Child Lab, where I designed and led a tactile graphic evaluation study for blind and low-vision learners as a part of NASA’s PUNCH mission.

As someone with a background in cognitive science and human-computer interaction/artificial intelligence, I believe I have a unique perspective in understanding why people think the way they do. My approach to design is to empathize with users, understand their needs and behaviors, and design intuitive interfaces that provide meaningful experiences. I'm a firm believer in the power of technology to enhance our lives and bring people together. I'm passionate about creating innovative solutions to complex problems, and am always looking for new opportunities to apply my skills and make a positive impact.

Apart from design, you can find me skiing, camping, bingeing true crime podcasts, or trying to pet as many dogs as possible.
